I have been obsessed with these photos ever since the moment I took them! Melanie and Samai are the most photogenic couple, and I loved how they were able to express their love so effortlessly in front of the camera. We booked a studio in south Austin for this fall shoot, and it was the perfect backdrop to let these two shine.
I experimented a lot with light, motion, and focus during this session, and they were so up for it! Honestly, editing these photos in black and white was one of the most fun editing sessions I've ever had, and it was so hard to cull this set when there were just so many great photos!
The studio was in a house that had a cute backyard strung with cafe lights, so we took a break and danced in the fall leaves before going back into the studio to shoot a few more photos in their more formal outfit.
